Board of Management
The Board of Management has the overall responsibility for the running of the school. The Board are required to keep confidential all matters discussed at meetings unless otherwise advised. The term of each Board is 4 years. The current board of Management commenced in December 2023 and will conclude on the 30th November 2027.
The Board has 8 members.
Two elected parents representatives (elected from parents of children who are enrolled and have commenced attendance at the school – one mother, one father)
The principal of the school.
A serving teacher on the staff of the school.
Two community nominees.
Two representatives nominated by the Bishop of Ossory.
Mr Pat Lalor is the Chairperson of the Board of Management for our school.
Our Board of Management work very hard in a voluntary capacity for the benefit of all the children in Killanure NS and it is very much appreciated by all.
